U19 focuses on cultivating interest and igniting passion. The activities we provide are mainly focused on players' experiences with professional training models. The training intensity and practice frequency for weekly lessons and competitions are not aimed at joining high school teams. Solid improvement in basketball skills still relies on a child's diligent practice and physical fitness development.
Diligent practice helps develop skills through repetition. For example, in learning shooting techniques, mastering the technique and then putting in a lot of training helps form the correct shooting posture as a habit. This will help players gradually find their touch and shooting rhythm, and improve their shooting accuracy.
Additionally, parents and coaches should avoid putting children into overly strict military-style management or overly standardized training methods. Being obedient just to get stage performance and adult approval without self-awareness can lead to children losing their ability to think independently. Parents should allow children to learn a responsible attitude towards life's main stage, "choosing freely what they want to do, becoming proactive learners, rather than passively following adult instructions." This approach is better than formal education methods.
If you discover a young athlete with talent and a strong motivation for training, coaches can boldly provide higher-intensity and higher-quality training content and more frequent training sessions. However, the duration of individual training sessions and training volume should still be avoided from becoming excessive.
